DiJones Agents Rank in Australia’s Top 50 Women in Real Estate
DiJones sales agents Amy Kaslar and Sarah Burke have been recognised as some of the Australia’s best female real estate professionals in the residential property space.
Amy Kaslar, who works out of the DiJones Beecroft office was ranked number 36 while Sarah Burke from DiJones Bowral came in at number 47 in the REB Top 50 Women in Real Estate.
DiJones CEO Dean Mackie said Amy Kaslar and Sarah Burke were a great example of agents who provide quality customer service and have exceptional knowledge of their local areas and what buyers want. “DiJones has a legacy of innovation like no other brand in the marketplace. Seeing Sarah and Amy thrive is a testament to their hard work and the support that we can provide them as a network especially during these unprecedented times.”
Amy Kaslar said the outbreak of COVID was extremely challenging and they had to revisit the way property is sold.
“We managed to still sell all our properties during the lockdown last year via online auctions and by appointment inspections, which is something we are currently back at,” she said.
Amy achieved a record quarter at the end of last year across her market in Sydney’s Northern Suburbs region due to strong buyer demand.
“I worked until the 23 December, something I haven’t done in over 10 years and exchanged 11 properties in five weeks.
“We have seen a frenzy of activity in 2021 with record prices cross the board and we expect this to continue despite the uncertainly COVID is still creating because stock levels are so low.”
Sarah Burke said buyer demand in the Southern Highlands has been strong particularly from Sydney buyers who are looking for a lifestyle change and are able to work from home.
“They want a feeling of space that they can’t get in the city without the feeling of being too remote,” she said.
“The Southern Highlands has some magnificent homes as well as grand estates and in the last 12 months we have seen some remarkable homes sold including 22 Bundaroo Street, Bowral for in excess of $4 million.
“There aren’t a lot of properties for sale in the area and combined with the low interest rate environment it has pushed up prices. Due to COVID we are looking even more intensely at how we can serve buyers and sellers needs and match them on and off market,” she said.
According to Sarah Burke the demand from Sydney has seen an increase in auctions in what is a non-traditional auction market.
“In an environment where there is fierce competition auctions are more transparent for buyers and the best way to truly get the market price for a property.
“Four bedroom character cottage, 4 Banksia Street, Bowral, in the heart of Old Bowral, is up for auction on 17 July with a price guide of $1.695 million.”
