DiJones Solidifies Depth Of Leadership Structure
Driving depth into its existing teams and agency footprint, DiJones has hired Mark Horvat, an internationally recognised senior leader in the real estate profession, as Head of Sales.
The appointment sees Brent May promoted to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
“We have grown our executive team to help assist in planning and delivering strategy for our current footprint and growth in complementary markets,” DiJones CEO Dean Mackie said.
Brent’s role will be to lead, drive revenue and oversee the end-to-end operations of the DiJones business. He will be tasked with finding better ways to do things and will manage innovation.
“Meanwhile, as Head of Sales, Mark will strategically lead sales, productivity and market share, while strengthening DiJones’ capability to support, coach and recruit into our existing footprint,” Mr Mackie said.
Brent May said that Mark, who is a former Managing Director of publicly listed London based real estate firm Foxtons, relocated to Australia at the beginning of the year.
“A Canadian who has spent the past 20 years in the UK, Mark has most recently overseen Foxtons’ operations, working across all areas of the business in a strategic leadership role,” Mr May said.
“As an experienced sales leader, Mark has a strong track record in delivering growth and developing high performance sales teams.
“I have no doubt that Mark will help us to expand the DiJones network, attract and retain the best agents and achieve our goal of continued growth and success for our team,” Mr May said.
Mark Horvat said he has a passion for the real estate profession and is excited to be sharing his experience and unique perspective with the DiJones team.
“I love real estate and the meaningful difference that it makes in peoples’ lives when done well,” Mr Horvat said. “I am passionate about great service, and believe that good tech can help talented agents deliver a better customer experience to more people more often.”
DiJones was established in 1992, and operates market leading offices on the Upper North Shore, Northern Suburbs, Southern Highlands, Lower North Shore and Eastern Suburbs. Earlier this year DiJones extended its reach to the Central Coast.
